Legend:
Banbha (pronounced "Ban-va" or "Ban-uh-ba") is a figure from Irish mythology and one of the many names for Ireland itself just like her sister's name Ériu as Éire. She was a goddess of the land representing fertility and the essence of Ireland with her sisters Ériu and Fódla.
She was a daughter of Delbáeth and Ernmas of the Tuatha Dé Danann. She was married to Mac Cuill and is often depicted as a protector of the land and its people.
